Easy Snickerdoodle Cookies

Happy Tuesday everyone!

I will warn you, this week is quite a baking week, I just couldn’t help it. I went on quite on baking spree this past weekend and I can’t wait to share these recipes with you!

I have always had a soft spot for snickerdoodle cookies. When I was in second grade I was on a charter swim team and on Fridays after practice, I remember our coach would bring snickerdoodle cookies for the entire team. Obviously, she was my favorite coach!

1/2 cup of butter

3/4 cup of sugar

1 egg

1 tablespoon of milk

1/2 teaspoon of vanilla

1 1/2 cups of flour

3/4 teaspoon of baking powder

1/4 teaspoon of salt

cinnamon sugar; two parts sugar, one part cinnamon

Cream butter and sugar

Add egg, milk, and vanilla

Then add flour, baking powder, and salt

Roll dough into one inch balls, and then roll in cinnamon sugar

Bake for 12 minutes at 375 F

I personally think snickerdoodles can be enjoyed throughout the year, but what season do you think these are best for?
